Today the Historic Nelson Ranch is once again a cattle
ranch. The Yolo County Fair held its horse show at the
location in 2006, while their facility was being upgraded.
The Historic Nelson Ranch horse training facilites offers
top notch English and Western horseback riding
lessons and trainers for the rider and horse in the
Sacramento area. You have the opportunity to ride and
learn from champion horse trainers offering
personalized training, tailored to the experience levels
of the horse or rider. Students learn to build trust and
